Paris has been grey in the fall of 2017 and it continues being in the winter of 2018. While this is not news anymore, Parisians try to keep up with their lives and dress up mostly in dark monotonous colours. I remember, last winter, I used to be one of them, mostly for lack of time and ideas, I guess. Unlike last year, this season I dared myself to wear more colours, and in these images you can see very rare (from my side) but beautiful combination of pale pink, burgundy red (both velvet) and dark blue.
There's a new hotspot in my beloved area around Palais-Royal and it's called Dépôt Légal. Right at the corner of Rue Vivienne and Rue des Petit-Champs, in the busy neighbourhood of Palais Royal, lies Christophe Adam's (l'éclair de génie) latest creation. A café that offers a bit more than just coffee. I passed by this place 2 or 3 times before the construction was finished trying to get a peek inside and figuring out what is gonna come next to one of my beloved areas in Paris. Once they opened, I let the usually busy and hectic opening days pass and decided to check it out a few weeks later.
It's been a long time that I wanted to share my favourite spots in Paris with you. This will be the start of a new series, where I will regularly post some of my favourite spots, be it coffee places, restaurants or just nice locations to discover in the city. Today I'll start off the series with with my favourite places to have a coffee in the Marais.
Hello everybody, Today I'm bringing you some pictures from a very special place named Black Supermarket. Black Supermarket is a new hotspot in Paris, 400m2 space in the heart of Le Marais, where ten different urban artists gathered to create this wonderful place with "the most beautiful colours of night". L'Atlas, Katre, Mist, Sun7, Astro, Fenx, Tanc, Turk, Lóutsider, and Swiz were in charge to set up this wonderful place, which can be used as a work or meeting space during the day, and then to enjoy the cocktails during the evening.
Happy new year, my cuties! Wish you all the best in 2017! I hope all your dreams come true!
Last week I discovered a very exclusive jewelry shop just 10 min away from where I live and I really wanted to share the news with you, as it's a very beautiful and special place. Located at 316 Rue Saint Honoré
Founded in 1904 by shoemaker Ernest Amselle, Maison Ernest and its expertise in high heels is almost as old as the Eiffel Tower. The Pigalle address has retained its insider status, but with neighbours like the Moulin Rouge it’s no less emblematic of the city’s risqué heritage. Ernest’s is a story of elevation, liberation and a brand crafting vertiginous stiletto heels and provocatively pointed toes, providing women with the capacity for endless seduction. Maison Ernest heels bind the foot with the posture and poise; they fine hone the contours of the legs which in turn become never-ending. The brand has always understood how to intensify femininity, rendering women ever more spell-binding.
