Breath of Spring – Frivole Collection by Van Cleef & Arpels
I’m truly honoured and excited to present you my new collaboration with Van Cleef & Arpels. A Paris based jewelry brand, famous for its unique designs, that was founded in 1906. Their historical shop in the center of the city, at 22 Place Vendôme, is almost a must visit place if you love high jewelry.
When I got a proposition to collaborate with them I felt immensely flattered! They reason why they chose me, was that they wanted the real girls to represent the new collection named Frivole. Obviously, I did not think twice and I accepted. Since then my Cinderella story started.
I spent two wonderful days surrounded by amazing people. We went to stay in a beautiful Chateau de Villeray, with a big garden and great views. I had all kind of beautiful dresses and shoes around me. Worked with very talented hair and makeup artists. Basically, I had everything at my disposal to feel like a princess.
The day after our arrival we went to La Petite Rochelle. It’s an old, charming countryside house with a huge, dreamy and beautiful garden full of flowers. This was our shooting location. It was there where I first got to see the exceptional pieces of Frivole collection. These lovely creations represent Spring in all its glory, with flower detail on each piece.
After some early rain, the production team prepared the set and we were ready to create the first cinemagraphs and 360° image. Even though it was cold and I was freezing, it was very nice process.
What I loved mostly about this work (apart from the jewels), was the lovely people I got to meet and the fact that they allowed me to be a person I am every day. I could choose the dress I liked most, I could decide how I would have my hair, and which jewelry I wanted to shoot. All these details made my experience with Van Cleef & Arpels absolutely unique, and I feel very lucky for having worked with them.
As a result, we shot a beautiful cinemagraph which you can find on my Instagram (here). We also did (and this is my favourite part) 360° picture which one you can see clicking on the image bellow.
Lot’s of love.
